Cas-Straps© were designed, developed and proven in the field, born from real search and rescue experience and built to keep people and their equipment secure when it matters most.
The Founder
Cas-Straps© were designed, developed and extensively tested by Warrant Officer C. Mike Yarwood A.F.M., M.E.D.S RAF (Retd), drawing on 25 years of operational experience gained worldwide as a member of the British Airborne Forces and the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Helicopter Squadrons, serving as a Paramedic and Winchman.
Mike and his colleagues tested the Cas-Strap© concept extensively in both military and civilian environments to prove its efficacy. He was forced to retire in 1986, after 27 years of RAF service, following injuries sustained during his many search and rescue helicopter operations.
Built to be Trusted
The full range of Cas-Straps© grew directly out of conversations with the people who used the original first aid range, including Fire Services, who needed dependable straps for retaining their equipment.
Given Mike's commitment to life preservation, maintaining the best possible product, in both materials and efficacy, has always been at the forefront of every Cas-Strap© design.
In 50 years, not one Cas-Strap© has ever been reported to fail in service. Built on Mike Yarwood's commitment to life preservation.
Athlete Story
“I use the straps when I throw, to keep me strapped into my throwing frame. Whilst using Cas-Straps©, I've won gold at the Athens Paralympics, silver at the Beijing Paralympics and set 4 World Records.”
Stephen Miller, MBE, Paralympic Champion

Why Go Custom
The strap that steadies a casualty on a hillside is not the strap an athlete needs in the field. A custom build lets you match width, length and hardware to the exact task, so the strap works the way you do.
Secure dressings and splints, immobilise a limb or steady a casualty, made to the length and width your protocols call for.
Trusted across the military, fire and rescue, ambulance and HM Coastguard to retain equipment and keep hands free when seconds count.
The same straps Paralympic champion Stephen Miller MBE uses to strap into his throwing frame, on his way to gold and four world records.
